Tein SS or Koni/Eibach(/Comptech)?
Hey guys,
I'm getting my suspension upgrades here shortly, and I've run into a problem. I think I'm down to deciding between the Tein SS full coilovers - for $910 shipped - or the Koni Yellows and Eibach Pro-Kit - for $710 shipped. So are the Tein SS true coilovers worth $200 over arguably one of the best spring/shock combos?
Another question: Should I get the Pro-Kit or the Comptech Sport Springs? They will both probably end up costing the same - I know I can get the Pro-Kit for $195 shipped, and the Comptech MSRP is $179.99. The Comptech drops .05" less, but the Teg pictures I've seen with the Pro-Kit are sort of strange with the whole higher-front-than-rear deal. Would I be able to negate this quirk of the Pro-Kit since I have the adjustable Koni Yellows? Eibach or Comptech?
Thanks!
Ben

Teins is not good enough compared to H&R
Teins are made in tawian, not good enough
but if comparing to Koni yellow, i really don't know
but full coil over kit is better, i think
their shocks are different, i think

Well, it also depends on whether or not you really NEED full coilovers, are you really planning on changing your ride height&alignment all the time? Also, I have the Pro-kit/Koni yellow combo and I love it, it rides/performs great AND it does sit even, front is not higher than the rear, its perfect. My friend has the Comptech/Koni yellow combo and it is NOT a higher setting than the pro-kits, they sit just about equally, and they have essentially the same spring rates so they are very close to the same thing, I just would rather have mine made by Eibach over some spring company in Cali(I called Comptech and that is where they are made). Their ride/performance is darn near the same as well, so its really your choice. Enjoy, hope this helps
Man I just spend $890 for Ground Controls and Koni Yellows, both on group buys. Did I overpay? I know TEIN is really good but full coilovers alone dont make them any better...
