Probably to keep the car front biased.

yeah well you don't want the rear to be soo stiff. The hatch part is light, and it's gonna bounce around if it's too stiff.

Yeah I noticed the same problem with the Tein spring rate. They only get stiffer in the rear when you move up to like the RA which are around 600 front and 500 rear. I was looking at the SS and they are only 442 front and 224 rear something close to that. I was also looking at the H&R but their spring rate is similar also 450 front and 235 rear. I need something stiffer for autox but I don't have the dough for a $1600 system. So I don't know what to do. might just get ground control with adjustable koni. so many decisions not enough money, like usually. The Tein spring rate are mostly setup for street cars well the introductory models are.

yea, when i looked into going tein ss with 400 front and 350 rear they wanted 130 each end for the upgrade and the very price i could get was about 1k...anybody got a better price...otherwise i will go ground control..

use the right tires and learn to left foot brake and the low spring rate in the rear will only make the car easier to drive fast. stiffer rear springs make the car twitchy and harder to drive fast

they do that to induce understeer on a street driven car, well atleast that's true for the "american" products...a lot of oversteer with a high spring rate on the street gets dangerous...

i'm pretty sure if you have the Tein coilovers you can swap the front springs to the back and vice a versa...but with the spring rates that you have, being so low, i would just keep the stiffer ones in the front...late
