Default Teg rear brakes help

I am trying to finish the rear disc swap on my civic, but I am having trouble with the calipers. I can't get the piston to compress enough to fit it over the new pads/rotor. Is there a trick to it that I am missing? I am using a large c clamp - its what I always use for this. The calipers are not on the car. Any suggestions?

Rear calipers have the handbrake ratcheting mechanism inside. You have to twist the pistons, don't just push them straight in. If you've already cranked on the C-clamp, maybe that stuff is already damaged??

yeah man...you have to twist the pistons clockwise in order for it to decompress...
