Default Technical help with computer problem please?

Every time I start up IE, I am getting a "security alert" message from Equifax. I have removed the certificate from my root certification options, but the alert still keeps popping up [even after I have restarted the computer]. Equifax is now not even showing in my certification list, but I still get the security warning every time.
Any ideas please anyone?

Not to be a d*ck, but I've switched from IE (about 2 yrs ago) to fire fox and have never looked back. Are you sure you are on the right forum?

Not to be h*lpful, but have you tried a registry search for equifax or even uninstalling and reinstalling it? You also might be able to set windows to ignore the security problem.

It's christmas eve cereal, help the guy out.

Have you changed the computer's spark plugs? Maybe it just needs an oil change. Try that and get back to us.
