Tech questions
HI I am new to the forum but a long time Honda owner.
My 2000 Honda civic 4dr has had a few problems develop recently. I was hoping someone could shead some light as to what I can do to fix them. I can not afford the advice of a Honda dealer.
The Car is a special edition model, which means it has A/C, Automatic, pwr locks, keyless entry. The car has 145, 000 km
1) when i turn right there is a knocking sound from the rear of the car. Durring a right turn is the only time i hear this sound never when going straight. Since I last rotated my tires it has gotten worse.
2) My windshield wipers no longer function in the intermitant mode, they still work on the high and low speeds but when I turn them off they park in that spot instead of returning to the bottom.
3) After a large rain storm or driving in damp weather. The charging light will flicker for a few hours and then will go away until the next bit of damp weather.
Any help with these issues would be great Thanks in Advance.
Happy driving

1) I dunno... Fold down the back seat & have someone ride back there & listen? Narrow down the location might be the best thing for now.
2) Usually there's a contact ring built into the wiper motor that tells it where to park. My dum guess is you have to buy a new motor to get that.
3) How old are the belts? They get hard & slippery with age. If you overtighten them your alternator bearings might be next.
