need to know a few things here, my friends and I are trying to work the bugs out of the EMS system. need to get the car up and running soon!! so here is what i'm looking forb18b)

last one... need to know when WHAT injector fires on WHAT tooth of the crank(ie. injector 1 on tooth 5,injector 2 on tooth 12, and so on)
please help me out or send me some web sites that might help me out! this will mean the world to me if yall can give up this info!!

yes it si for the AEM EMS, and YES they do have base maps, but looking at all of the maps we have picked one for a CIVIC w/ a type R w/ t3/t4b,JE 9.2:1 pistons, stock rods(don't ask why, i thought most people would build the motor if the craked it open) and 440's. but looking at this map, they had injectors 1,2,3 and 5, ON?!?! they compleatly skipped the 4th injector, also had some other **** on to.. i'm just trying to get this up and running with all the right info! PS
if anybody is running the EMS system on there TURBO LS w/ 440's, and they got a GOOD map let me know!!

 

i have the aem ems too. all you have to do is load up a map for a car that uses your engine and is the same obd. then open up the fuel chart in the turbo one you liked and copy the fuel settings then open up the calibration that has the same obd and engine and paste it in that ones fuel chart.

have you used the ems before.
go to ecu connect with the key almost turned on all the way(so you hear the fuel pump)
to to file open (open the map you want)
then go to ecu upload to get that one that you opened onto the ecu
then next time you go to ecu connect that one will pop up and you can edit the fuel map

there are two triggers, a specific trigger in the stock distributor has 4 pickups on the rotor shaft buried inside the distributor casing ... that fires your injectors in the order you put into the EMS, i.e. 1-3-4-2

thanks for the tips and help... this is my first time w/ the EMS system, BUT i do know how to use a PC so geting everthing uploaded is all good done that.. the car runs.. like ****.. VERY VERY RICH.. and idels hard! i have posted on EMS forum with no luck so i came here.. hopeing to find my answers..
