Default Taking out Power Steering. What to do with the hose?

Exactly like the Topic says. Taking it out of a 1994 Acura Integra GSR with JRSC. He doesn't want to just take off the belt he wants everything that has to due with the PS taken out. Wondering what to do with the hose running to the Pump? Thanks.

cut it short.. and loop it around to itself.. you need the fluid in the rack still for lubrication.

cut the hose off and cap it off at the power steering pump. Eventally you will have to replace the pump since there is no fluid really moving through it.

I am not running my PS right now... took off the belt... is their any kind of maint i should do to keep the system lubricated? Anyone ever considered using electric power steering like in the s2000... how hard could it be to take off the integra's mechanical pump and connect an electric pump to it? that way you could just turn it off when you didn't want the PS

Go to a junkyard & get a CX complete non-ps rack....straight out swap & much less weight!!
