T~Rex info.......
Okay here's the diagram... This diagram is one that i wrote up awhile back on H-T to sort of explain how to read nonOBD pinouts and how to convert from Dual Point (DPI) to Multi point injection (MPI).... If you read through it i'm hoping that you'll get the basic idea of how to read the pins... Ignore the wiring changes as they should already have been changed on your Rex unless you already have an Si model.... You'll want to add a pin in the back of the plug B19 as shown below.. I don't know if i've told you before but I'm really particular about my wiring and i like it to look stock or better... Many people will just run the line out through any extra hole in the firewall, some will atleast shield with wire loom, but I will totally rip apart the interior wiring harness to just add one wire and also add in connectors so that you can just plug harnesses together. (not hardwiring anything)... Most of my friend's think that i'm crazy but it's just the way i do things... hehe It takes a lot longer and isn't needed so do so however you choose... Then once you get the wire ran to the ECU just run it out to your KS connector and you're set.. If you need more help with this just lemme know.. I'll try to be clearer, i'm just not good at writing out stuff and explaining it
.... As for taking out the KS, really i don't think i've ever done it with the head on the bottom end, but i know how tight of a squeeze you are dealing with.... No matter what there should be a way to get it off, but you might end up having to get a deep socket.... Really I don't know about the oxgen sensor.. I really just like stock the best, I know the single pin O2's are harder to come by but that's just what i've always used... The only aftermarket oxygen sensor i've ever worked with was on my friend's D16Z6/EG.... I just had to rewire the Bosch O2 with the OE connector for him... the bad part that was, the threads weren't correct and the O2 wouldn't screw into the header... Ask around, I'm sure that there are many other people that know a lot more than me about aftermarket oxygen sensors... Good Luck and let me know how it goes... Peace
