first I'll start with I did search ok that said I need to know if the friction modified is something you add to the syncromesh or if you run it strait or if you mix it ( I was thinking 1 quart friction modified and a quart and a half syncromesh thank for the help and I'll check this when i get off work

does anybody know (need to know soon,like today or early saturday) I talk to a guy at a gm dealer and he didn't know (he didn't even know about the friction modified till I gave him the part#)

 

You probably dont want to order it but when I bought mine I got it from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ .

 

You can run friction modified straight. It's not an additive itself but, it does have other additives that the regular syncromesh does not have.
