Default switching ECUs in a 97 delSol

Assuming the stock OBD2 delSol ECU is pulled and a replacement OBD1 ECU is used with the Skunk2 harness, which ECU would need to be used? Anyone have experience in this?

Thanks

Default Re: switching ECUs in a 97 delSol (riceboy)

if del sol sohc non vtec, use the 92-95 civic CX and DX (P06 ecu)
if sohc vtec, use the 92-95 civic EX/Si (P28 ecu)
if dohc vtec, use the 92-95 del sol b16a (P30 ecu), 92-93 GSR (P61 ecu), or even the 94-95 GSR (P72 ecu). I can also reprogram the P28 to DOHC spec, a very common thing people do nowadays.
