Default Swapping transmissions with a friend.. Quick question

I have a gsr tranny.

He has a ls tranny with a quaife lsd.

We want to trade trannys but were swapping lsds so he has my gsr tranny with his quaife, and i get the ls with the stock gsr diff.

What do we need to do in as in swapping ring gears or anything, or if the diffs will just swap over?

Cause im not sure but I think the bolt pattern on the ring gears will not match up when we swap diffs?

TIA,
Kevin

i'm pretty sure those diffs are not interchangable.....
i know for sure that the bolt pattern for the ring gear is different, but i cant rememer what else is different.

why are you trading a gsr for an ls anyways??

the ring gear needs to stay in the tranny that it came from, bolt pattern should be the same , the bolts are left hand thread

And different mainshafts. This is probably not worth the effort you are going to have to put into this to make it worthwhile, unless you owe him big time for something you did
