Hiya,

Ive finally decided on what Im gonna change my gears to as I think they let my acceleration down badly.

Im gonna go for a ATS 3-4-5 on a JDM 96 Spec ITR box w/4.4 FD or perhaps the OS 4.533 FD at a push!!!

But I was wondering if I really need to go to the hassle and expense of a new box?

Basically, the box I have at the moment is a s80 JDM b18c1 box: stockratios are:

3.23
1.9
1.360
1.034
0.787
FD: 4.4

And the 96 Spec JDm ITR is

3.23
2.1
...
...
... (Ive left them blank cos it doesnt really matter as Ill be changing them.

The gear which does concern me is 2nd. If I was to do the ATS 3-4-5 on my current box with the 1.9 second gear, while accelerating hard, 3rd gear will be way too short (only 10mph!!!)

So what I want to know is, is it possible to change 2nd gear from my JDM s80 box to a 2.1 2nd from a JDM ITR 96 spec (which is also an s80 if im not mistaken) so I dont have to go through the hassle of bying a box I dont know anything about. I know my current box is in super condition thats why!
