Swapping cranks?????? Which main should I use?????
Hey
I am about to swap cranks in my block I am wondering should I use the mains from the original block or the mains from the crank that I am going to swap in?

Do you mean the main bearing caps? They definitely stay with the block they were machined with originally.

Yeah I am talking about the 5 mains should they be the original ones from the block or the ones from the crank I am putting in

Definately use the mains from the original block.Dont swap mains unless you have them align honed,as each set of mains is specifically machined for each block.
