ok here is kinda how I go about it. Sorry if I include some steps that you already know. First I take the axle nuts off. I put a thin(strong) flat head screw driver in between the slots on top of the rotor and use a 32mm socket with a large breaker bar. The screwdriver will wedge against the caliper so you can break it loose. take off the forks and other nessisarry supports so you can remove the axles. Now drain all of your fluids and then pull those axles. This is a good time take off the lower shift linkages. The one that is really a bitch is the one that has a clip with a pin under it. Remove to clip and use a air hammer if you have one to get it out. If not just get something that will fit in the hole and have fun, it doesn't like to come out easily. Now I usually remove the hood. Start at one end of your engine bay and start disconnecting anything that goes to the motor. remember to open the gas cap before you take the fuel line off to relieve pressure. I usaully loop one end of the chain through a tranny bolt and bolt it in, as for the other side I put my jack underneath the oil pan with a 2x4 crank it up just so it makes contact, be carful not to dent the pan. then you can release the drivers side motor mount so and crank it up alittle more so that you can attach the other side of the chain to it. now pull your cherry picker up and put some tension on the chain. undo the pass., front, and rear motor mounts. you will have to pull the motor out crooked with the tranny facing down. be patient taking it out, you will have to dance with it allittle to get it out. well hope that makes sense, pm me with any hang ups
