Default Suspension question.

All right, on my old car I had Tokico Illuminas with Skunk2 Coilovers. Now I have skunk2 coilovers on what seem to be stock struts. Both were bouncy, I want to eliminate that, or at least have the least amount of "bounce" on my car.

So what I'm thinking is maybe switching to a full body coilover (Omnipower), will hopefully yield less bouncy results.

So basically my question is will my plan work? Will going to that full body coilover work better than what I have had on either of those two cars? The set up will be going onto an 88 CRX SI, so I guess if any of you have had suspension success with a set up on that car, let me know! Thanks a bunch.

i would think that they would, but you may get very satisfactory results by simply chaning the struts on your current car to struts that can control the current springs... if cost weren't an issue, i would go for full bodied coilovers suited to my driving habits and usual conditions over struts and sleeve coilovers... again, just my personal opinion...

the omni power full coilover is very good.. ive ridden on skunk 2's with tokico blues and they rode like ***..very stiff for the street.. omni power is still a pretty stiff coilover but they do not bounce.. or u can just get some good springs/struts.

buy a pair of 250 lbs or less springs and put them in the rear. your car will not be so bouncy. skunk2 puts way too much spring in the rear, and so does omni. and dont listen to the fools who say you want to put stiff springs in the rear for your street car.

check here if you can trade or buy what youre looking for.
