Suspension problem: Camber kit, knocking noise
Hey I did a search, no results. Recently installed a Ingalls camber kit on my sisters 91 Accord, after the install and alignment, when she goes over bumps there is this crazy knocking noise, it sounds like th control arm is hitting some part of the inside of the fender, it would have to be a very hard part.
I'm worried this is going to bend the arm, what are my solutions?
This first thing I had in mind was raise the car up a little, but this obviously is a cheap work around, and is not a permanent solution. I've heard several things about "grinding" the control arm down, can anyone vouch for this method?
P.S.: It is NOT the tire rubbing. I managed to reach my hand up in there and put my finger in there and feel around, and it seems like the upper control fork is banging into the molded inner fender area. Any help/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks every!

i had the same problem on my hatch the upper balljoint control arm are was hitting the inside of the fender . i had to cut out a 4 inch section for it to clear. jack it up take the wheeloff and push the strut up as far as possible to see if it clears
Is it slammed?
My diagnosis: The car is too low. So raising it is more permanent than you think. The upper ball joint has been displaced outward too far. Is the UCA hitting the fender lip or the fender (shock tower)?
Problem: when you are very low, you are going to have to live with a decent amount of static negative camber.
