I recently hit a curb in my 98 ek hatch ( at about 70 ) i bent the control arm, and another piece...im not sure what it's called, it attaches to the control arm and goes toward the back of the car and attaches to a bushing...help me out...what is this part called, anyone know where i can these parts?

 

You can probably find the parts in a junk yard, or contact Larry Jr. at Import Auto Salvage in Marion NC, he'll be able to help you.

 

sounds like you are describing the lower control arm. If you have to swap arms, I'd recommend you go with either the ex front setup or SI front setup and get a front sway bar out of the deal. i believe that ImportAutoSalvage sells the SI front sway-bar setup for about $170. Good deal since you have a dx. However the 22mm front sway from the EX may be a better choice.

 

Look for the aftermarket control arms that will make it so you can fit wider wheels here is a pic you can find them on ebay for about 90 bucks.
