Default Surging Idle

I had this problem once before, but once my motor was rebuilt, it went away. Anyhow, this is what happened. Everything was fine, until I had to replace the lower rad hose. After doing this, the engine idle surges between 900-1600 approx after it warms up. On a cold start though, it seems fine. I tried bleeding it, I ran the car with the rad cap open. Any suggestions? Thanks. Oh yeah, I did a search, and I am sure there are no vaccuum leaks since everything was normal before I had to replace the hose.

When you re-bled, did you make sure to set the heater controls to full hot, but not turn the fan on?

How long did you wait with the radiator cap off?
