It all started when I purchased an s1 tranny last month... I then purchased a B18C block, ITR pistons/rods/rings, and a few minor products. I was shooting towards the "Frankenstein" approach, by building a motor simmilar to the LS/Vtec and B20/Vtec. My plans were to complete the transformation with a B16 cylinder head and sending the block to a matchine shop. I am wondering if I should complete this project or just build a complete GSR; before I purchase the B16 head for the swap... My budget is $2,000 more or less! What would you do?

I already have mounts, shift linkage, harness ect... The only thing that is holding me back is the cylinder head! GSR or Frankenstein?

Both would be reliable! I am concerned about the Frankenstein for spending tremendous money/time tweaking the motor for personal preference.
