This Sucks...HELP!!
After dropping my motor into my car and checking over everything I was about to start my car after priming the oil feed line to the turbo. I decided to make one last check underneath the car when i saw all this fluid leaking out. I found it to be coming from the transmission side of where the axles go into. What could be wrong? Is the rubber seal ripped? I know the problem isn't the axles, but I did notice that the axles are not all the way into the transmission side. There is about a couple cm, it seems, that it can be pushed into. Is all that is needed for the me to disconnect the knuckle and the control arm and push the axle all the way in or does this seem like there is a tear in the rubber seal of the transmission where the axle fits in.
Thanks
Thanks
More than likely the axle didnt go in all the way. Pull them out and double check the seals on both sides. They are only like 10 bucks from the dealer so that is an easy fix. Once you have verified those, then verify that the axles are going in all the way. Those are the 2 problems that I see occur most frequently.
