Default stuck (rusted) flywheel

Hello

Background:
1. I have bought the SIR-II swap part number 30005 from Hmotorsonline.com
2. I did the swap on the 93 CX.
3. The Engine started fine.

Problem:
1. The clutch could not be shift into GEAR when the Engine is running.
2. Shifts fine when the engine is OFF (of course).
3. It is probably Rusted and Mated together with the flywheel.

Question:
1. Please tell me there is a soluntion to this other than a new clutch kit.

thank you

That happened to a car I had. I found with enough man handling, I was able to break the clutch away from the flywheel and drive the car. Then I replaced the clutch.

It involved a lot of abusing the sychros to get it into gear and moving, then putting the clutch in and stomping on and off the gas, like a retard learning to drive stick.

We had a tractor that the clutch stuck on it. Had to drive it around with the clutch mashed in goosing the throttle and mashing the brakes at the same time in high gear... it finally broke loose. works good now no problem

The clutch could be damaged as well. This would cause the clutch to not disengage the flywheel.

Probably should have replaced it when you bought it...but I would definitely try what these cats are recommending. Definitely won't be good for your tranny though.

Neh, it's fine. The tires will break loose before the trans does. I hope.

I got my motor from Hmotorsonline as well. I didn't have any troubles like that, but then again, I was weary of the mexican guy I was talking to about it. So I pulled the tranny off while it was still on the palet and basically went through the motor and replaced all the seals, including rear-main, which you need to take the flywheel off to even get too. Everything looked good, though I did notice it was EXTREMELY hard to get the flywheel off.

My luck with online orders.
I have no time to "break" my tranny just yet *cross my fingers*, but I will definately try to get it running.

Steve, from HMO, is sending me the clutch kit "for customer satisfation"; he so called it. I will hate the fact that I will have to change it.

It could also be the shifter fork holding the throwout bearing (not allowing enough travel to engage/disengage clutch).

Happened to me

He did not call me back. I called him. He told me the "used" clutch kit will be at my door by the end of this week for free. YES, NO CHARGE.

I'll see if he's a GOOD man or NOT.

========> I have tried driving the car with the clutch engaged "Jerking it" thing. It does not work. I have drove 4 rounds around my block.

========> any more HELP

thanks

Last Option: Buy a new Clutch kit and gather some more times.
