Default Stripped Oil Pan Plug Head

Ok, so I have tried a ratchet, a normal wrench, an adjustable wrench, wouldn't budge the thing because it was moderately stripped.

Then I used vice grips so tight I was kicking at the thing and it wouldn't budge and eventually stripped it a little more. Then I got those Bolt Tight sockets made for stripped heads, tried with a ratched, grabbed real tight, wouldn't budge, then I used the vice grips on them and it wouldn't budge, started stripping the head more and then the inside of the socket.

I don't even think I have moved it a millimeter. I just got the car last week and I would really like to do this oil change, don't got the cash right now to bring it to have someone do it and already bought the mobil 1, lucas oil stabilizer, filter, pcv valve, air filter.

Any suggestions I am now desperate.

Just take it to the shop. I don't think they will charge that much. If you have receipt return the stuff so you pay for the shop expenses or save it for the next oil change. Better safe than sorry. Good luck.

Yeah if i were you, Id take it to a shop. If you've used the little sockets that are supposed to be used for stripped heads and still cant get it off, its kinda fucked. Or if you wanna do it yourself and you're not afraid of a mess, take off the oil pan itself! but...thats just a pain in the ***.

I hope you didnt strip it out!

Thanks for the responses. I took it to a guy named Justin who comes into the AutoZone I work at, for 10 bucks he got it out and let me change the oil right there.

No I was not turning it the wrong way, I have been a DSMer for years, I know my way around a car and how to take an oil plug out. Found out from the dealer he used a pneumatic gun for "extra leak protection."
