Stripped Head Nut?
I've been tryin to pull the head off of my hydrolocked H23, and I've busted 4 sockets tryin to break the head nuts. I've gotten about 5-6 loose, but the one by the cylinder that snapped a rod wouldn't come lose and stripped off.
What's the best way to get this thing out?

will it fit in that small area to extract that bolt, though?

Cool, I gotta run to Sears today to swap out yet another set of busted 14mm sockets, i'll see if i can get ahold of those special ones.
I've been meaning to get a set of air tools, but haven't had the cash lately. The guy helping me out has them in his garage, but I couldn't get my car out there. That's DEF. a priority for the near future

I ran up to Sears and got their $20 pack of Bolt-Outs. They're made of high-carbon steel and basically screw down onto the bolt's head, forcing the thing to rotate.
They worked extremely well, but it took a few tries. The first time, it stripped off a bit of the edge on the bolt-out, and it kept slippin off. I then found out that the most important part is hammering the thing down onto the bolt's head really good before turning it any. This way, it bites good and starts screwing down, instead of just stripping off the top half of the head.
From now on, i'm gonna be using air tools!
