I had an ACT street/strip setup and it never damaged my flywheel on my zc motor. In fact I have never heard of a clutch tearing up a flywheel.

Default Re: street/strip clutches kill flywheels (91civic)

I have run 2 ACT HDSS units, one Exedy full face unit and now a full face Exedy disc and ACT Xtreme plate. No problems at all with my TODA flywheel. It is the only part of the clutch assembly that has remained constant and stood up to the abuse...
