Strange ignition problem - civic
Okay so i have a 94 civic its been my daily driver for a year and a half now with no real problems
but now when i turn off my car my fog lights stay on, and my air keeps blowing. i would say something was mis wired but nothing has changed and this just randomly started now.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Also, get yourself the FSM, be it in .pdf or physical and check the wiring diagrams to see what relays run inline with the systems that are remaining powered...then pull the relays and bench test them...sounds like you might have a relay frozen in the powered position.

A bad fuse is not going to keep the ign./acc. circuit on.
As has been mentioned, either a "short" from a 12V+ constant to the ign./acc. circuit or a bad ign. switch.
Remove the column cover assy. [14/15] and the drivers lower instrument cover, [14] so you can see the ign. switch harness...

see if there is an alarm or remote start, [you do not know about] wired to the harness and/or follow ign. switch harness to there plugs and unplug them...

If there is an alarm/remote start wired in, try unplugging it, if unplugging it solves problem, remove it completely, [all wiring] if unplugging the ign. switch solves the problem, replace the switch. 94
