str intake manifold
my b18b str intake manifold keeps bringing up an ecu code related to the iac valve, I've tried to contact str but it didn't help. anybody else out there having this same problem? I've been searching this site for iac, and see people talking about bypassing water on the iac, would this stop the codes from coming up?

What exactly is happening? Sometimes when installing the IAC you can pinch the o-ring, which can causde a vacuum leak, which may cause you to throw a code. YOu may also have a faulty/BAd IAC.
It only started when I put the str intake manifold on. I pulled the iac cleaned and checked the o-ring then put back on. it didn't help. check light only comes on sometimes, shuting off motor and restarting sometimes stops it.

Yes, make sure the IAC is working correctly. Does the Idle bounce around at all? At low RPM. All the hoses are plugged back in?
When you installed the the intake manifold did you put back the proper plugs into it proper place. I did that once, when I dropped a b18 in to my civic and switched the water temp plug with the iac and I got the same code as you did, check and double check if not replce the iac!
took out iacv again and cleaned it real good, put it back and still got a check code. then when I was driving around one of those water hoses started leaking. a my car ran out of water/antifreeze, and ran really hot for few minutes until I could get to a water faucet. fixed the hose, added water with no antifreeze and drove home. now the car doesn't bring a check code anymore and runs just fine now. could it have been the type of antifreeze I was using? I was using the red color stuff, the one that says 150,000 miles on it
