I swapped a 96 dx motor into my 93 si for something reliable to get around till I get a better motor finished, I swapped engine harness, injectors, dizzy and ecu to obd-1 and the ecu is a p-05 or whatever cx ecu, I also put a obd-1 intake mani and t/b on it (I hate the obd-2 dx snorkel intake mani) everything is all good except the idle, it sounds like the usual backyard swapped civic; idles from 1500-2500, up and down, I know this is usually the IAC, I pulled off the iac and cleaned it out really good, no luck, maybe I have the wrong clip on it the wires going to it are yellow/black and blue/black, is that right? the only other clip it could be is the one I have hooked up to the evap emissions purge valve and those wires are yellow/black and red, there are no cel's. I bypassed the fast idle valve, could this also be a problem? Could anyone help me out? any ideas? It Idles perfect until its warm, then it starts idling erratically. Thanks!
