Default Steering Column Removal...EG

alright. i need to swap out my steering column since my lock is broken off.

my question is, how do i keep the alignment? after i remove the steering wheel and put the new column in, will it steer fine?

hope this makes sense.

the steering column shouldn't affect your alignment just make sure you position the wheel straight ahead when the tires are straight ahead

be sure not to let the steering wheel spin when you disconnect the steering column from the rack. If it spins it'll break your cable reel for srs which will kill your horn, srs, cruise control. Pull the steering wheel off first and remove the cable reel just to be safe.
