starting up problem

starting up problem
just pulled my D16 and put in the GSR set up everythings connected but no spark to my plugs i cant get it to start, water did get in the plug holes but not below the plugs before i took them out i air brushed all the water away but do you think the water had anything to do with it

check the coil
take the cap out and stick a plug wire on the coil
then put a spark plug wire on the other end and grond it or lay it on the valve cover
now turn the key on and with a wire tap the coil negative side to ground u should have spark.
