Default Starting over

Well the inievitable happened, I killed the #3 cyl in my B16. I've got some time to think and redo another block, where would you go from here? I'm thinking about stroking it, but that will take me some time to get the cash together. Ideally, I would like 200 hp. with about 12.5:1 comp. I want to rev the motor to 10k and be COMPLETELY safe with JUN III cams. I've got 3 B16 blocks to work with here so let the ideas fly!

Default Re: Starting over (ridge racer 2)

B: 10K rpm should not be a goal only a necesity if that is where peak power is. C. You can't afford to run 12.5 compression. Figure out how fast and how reliable you want to be first and work backwards.

Ummm... 12.5:1 isn't that costly... Yes I can afford to run it. My car will be totally reliable. 10 was just a figure of speech- want to be able to rev as high as I need to.
