Default starting off

i have a 97 civic ex and wanted to put a turbo kit on it.. everything in my car is stock.. someone told me that i should work on the suspension first and then get a turbo kit is this true? and does anyone have a good outline or website that will lead me in the right direction so that i don't damage my car

You should do a lot of research before slapping a turbo on your car. This site will help a lot.

But for suspension, just a nice set of springs would give you a more attractive stance, and for a higher price you could get coilover suspension.
