we just did a swap and its been 2 days now ive been trying to get this car to start but am out of ideas when you turn the key nothing happens ive replaced teh battery, starter and battery power cable. supposedly the car started before but i have a hard time believing that now. even if I jump try to jump the starter by conecting the + terminal to the starter solenoid nothing happens.
i need help now does anyone have any other ideas??????tia

 

did u check ur grounds? i think the starter is grounded to the engine block, so check ur engine ground strap....be sure it's making a clean contact w/ the engine block & the chassis (maybe put some dielectric grease between the contacts).

there's also a chance that the starter solenoid could be bad. ones that are on their way out usually just need a quick wack (from a metal object like maglite, big wrench, metal pipe, etc...) anywhere on the soldenoid to ground it out.
