Default starter problem..

i have a 98 Acura CL with a obd1 h22. heres the deal, i get home from work and turn the car off for not even 3 minutes.. then im about to go to my friends house but nope, car isnt starting.. even tried to jump start it but still no.. my friend says it sounds like the starter is not engaging.. i checked all the wiring to the starter and they all look fine.. took off the starter and took it up to autozone to be tested and it passed.. i couldnt believe it, i thought that had to be the problem, got it tested 3 times just to make sure of it and all passed. i even took the battery up there to be checked and its good also. i have no idea what the damn problem is.. any help is appreciated..

did you meter the wires to make sure you are getting powr to the right wires? other then that it would get a little tricky
