recently when i go out to start my car it takes a couple of seconds of cranking for it to turn over..is it the starter or battery?and it seems like when it does start to turn over the whole car shakes a little........ it only does it when it hasnt been started in a while..i did search but noone got the prob diaginosed please help with out flaming im not in the mood to hear it

hey man, my lude does the same thing but when its really hot and humid outside and my car has been sitting there it takes a while to start. Or sometimes i spray starting fluid through my intake to start it

 

IF its hot and humid and the car has a hard time starting, Its most likly the main relay thats over in the steering collum. I have noticed that they go bad easily. Boostless lude. If you say you spray some starting fluid that would leed to a bad fuel pump. Tuneup possibally too might help if not done.

 

it isnt the starter either the starter works or it doesnt i would have the battery load tested it may be getting weak
