Default Start up problem!

I just recently sold my b20vtec Integra to my friend. It sat for a while and now it's having all sorts of problems that's it's done before.

First off, the car won't start. It cranks and turnsover, but it won't catch. It's not the battery. It's not even six months old and we had it checked out at local Auto store. When the car is cranking, it smells like gasoline. It starts eventually, but takes a LONG time.

Secondly, yesterday when my friend was driving it home, he said the car died on the freeway. When he stepped on the gas, the car sputtered and hesistated like there was no gas. (yes, he did have gas) Then it just died on him.

Recently changes that were made to the car right before it sat: I had it dynotuned with the B&M fpr and we turned up the fuel pressure.

I'm thinking it might the old and tired fuel pump OR faulty injectors. Any ideas?

The car has MSD 7AL-2 and Blaster 3.

I'm not too sure if that could be the problem, because once the car starts, it runs perfectly fine. No loss in performance.

try replacing the FP - then the injectors. could be the faulty wiring to those two components too.

possible bad gas if only sat for less than 6 mons. maybe not but if it ran good and for a while with the injectors that isn't the problem cause you would have had the problem befor you parked it. i think it has to do with the spark. if you are smelling gas then it isn't being ignited.
