stalling after startup
Right after I start my car it idles lower than it should (500-700 rpms while cold). When I hit the gas there is a serious loss of power. When I take my foot off the gas and the rpms drop, my car almost stalls. It sputters the whole time. This lasts for about 10-30 seconds after every startup. Then the idle shoots up to normal and the car drives fine. Usually this doesn't happen when car has warmed up completely and started soon after its shut off.
I also get no more than 25 mpg on the highway and I drive a stock del sol s. I have changed the spark plugs/wire, fuel filter, o2 sensor, pcv valve, and distributor cap/rotor since this has been happening. Does this all make sense? I am totally clueless as to whats wrong.

Cool, i'll check it out. I didn't know if that would be it because i haven't heard of a problem like this caused by it. Did you have a problem with horrible gas mileage too? Or would this be a seperate problem?
When was the last time the plug wires were changed, the timing checked and cam/crankshaft pully alignment...
"Sorta" sounds like something may be a little too retarded or starting to fail....
