Default stainless steel question. cutting welding.

I have DC 4-2-1 stainless steel header. i happen to have a pr3 ecu which needs the 2 o2 sensors. Is stainless steel cuttable? other than plasma torch? i have a welder to do the welding, i just need the bungs for them. What kind of place would carry these bungs for the o2 sensors?

A carbide tipped drillbit or other cutter will have no problems with normal stainless steel grades.

I get my O2 bungs from the auto parts store. They are made by K&N (the filter company).

i just ran one o2 senser and then split the wire before the ecu and ran the two wires to the ecu and it works fine. so really you dont need to do all that crap

Stainless isn't easy to weld. If you do it wrong, the metal in and around the weld will rust away faster than regular steel.
