Default stage 1 or stage2?

I'm having the worst time deciding which cam to get. But before i begin, let me tell you what I want. Either stage1 or stage2 skunk2 cams.
Now I'll tell you what i have...
00 si, apex n1 cat-back, high flow cat, jdm dc itr headers w\ 2.5 collector, aem cai, upgraded springs and retainers that can handle up to 10,000 rpm made by pro-spec racing, jg cam gears, ecu chiped with skunk2 program rev at 9500, vafc, magnecor wires, iridium plugs and a aem fpr which has not been installed yet.
Now i know that stage1 have stock idle characteristics and stge2 kind of do. But i've heard people say you need more compression with the stage2. So if not looking into doing any headwork yet, is it bad to get the stage2, do i need a higher compression for these cams. Or am i better off getting stage1. please help can't make up my mind. what would you do???

If you're in CA then smog laws may be the determining factor here. I don't think you'll have alot of success trying to get a vehicle w/ skunk2 stg2s through smog testing.

Pro Spec. You must know Rob.........

I would go with the stage 1's because there has been better sucess with those cams on a stock block over the stage 2's. I don't think you would be utilizing the full potential of stage 2's with you current engine setup. If you were to open your head up and bump your compression I would go with the 2's.

would a b18c1 with jdm itr pistons have enough compression to run the stage 2's or would the stage 1's still be better

what are the cam specs compared to CTR cams? opposed to stage 1's because without more CR the 2's are out of the question.

stage 2's will need at least 11.5 cr to function properly. not to mention that there are a few people that are in the 190 whp range with stage 1's

i had 190/140 with the stage 1's. b20/vtec 12.5 comp.
but top end dropped REALLY fast after 7.5k on my setup.
i had a greddy 4-2-1 header modded to 2.5" collector.
i think that was what choked my top end

I had 196whp w/140 tq with the stage 1's. I was running 12:5 compression on a stock bore/stroke GSR block. I was still making power to about 8800. Something definetly is not happy with your setup to drop at 7500........
