SRS Light
Hey Guys,
I have a 98 Honda Civic EX and my SRS Light came on a few weeks ago. I checked every thing Battery, Fuse... What it would do is the SRS Light would stay OFF when the car was not in motion and it will come back on as I would hit the gas. Come to find out that my Alternator was bad it is ideally suppose to put out 14 Volts at 30 - 35 amps, but it was putting out 16 Volts at 45 amps. I had my Alternator replaced with a rebuilt one for about $175 and that fixed the problem. So I would suggest that before you go to the dealer and spend over $300 - $400 check the Alternator. I hope this information was helpful.
Thanks.
