how do i get my clutch to stop squeaking its a brand new act street/slip clutch and the majority of the time whenever i push my clutch in and out its squeaks
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
check your slave cylinder...
1. bleed it & put new clutch fluid in the lines...
2. check slave cylinder for lube...
3. just listen for the noise and pinpoint it out.

My ACT clutch does it too, some times its a loud screech when I release it quick, I figure it's the bearing not coping wery well with the pressure of the extreme P plate. I'm going to change the clutch soon, I don't like the 6puck.
P.s I alredy replaced my master cylinder and bleed the system to ****, no leaks in the slave cycinder either.

I have heard of squeak sounds with the puck disc but not with the street disc. Is this sound associated with the pedal movement or slipping of the clutch? If it is pedal movement, the linkage probably wasn't lubricated properly with the new clutch install. Usually a squeak will occur if the clutch arm pivot ball or slave cylinder rod end is not lubricated. I would check these areas first.

no, i havent greased it up im gonna try though ..what kind of grease should i use and the throw out bearing is just inside the rubber boot that the clutch fork moves in correct????
Wow, my stock clutch does the same thing. It has been squeaking for a while. Mostly when it is very humid outside. Friends civic does that too. Maybe it is because of a leak in the tranny where moister can get in or something? Doesn't hurt performance does it?
My ACT 6 puc HDPP sounds like i'm scrtchign a chalk board (kinda) if I don't let it out right.... i ahve to ride it softly, either that or immediatley engage at 3500 rpm which is horrible... But I still like it.

It sounds like the shaft the throwout bearing slides on. Use a moly based lube to lubricate the shaft for it to slide in and out easily. Every time you drop the tranny, you should lubricate the shaft to insure a squeek free setup. If you didnt have it on a stock pp, it was because the force required to push down the pp wasnt as great as your new ACT. More force=greater pressure on the shaft, hence a small squeek.
Basicly, the throwout bearing slides on the shaft, the lube wears out after age and is even a more noticed problem with higher strength p/p's.
There is some special honda moly base lube that honda uses.
I use moly base assembely lube which is good up to about 350 degrees.
When looking for one, try to find one with the highest temp stability.

yup
If it is comming from under the dash or somewhere else, then its obviously not that, but if its comming from the tranny, thats where its comming from.
nuttin u can do about it unless u drop the tranny.
its not bad, just annoying.
