So ive had my car for a while. and its a bone stock d16y8 97 coupe. has 83k on the clock.

I did a Full tune up.
Cap
Rotor
coil
ICM
plugs
Fuel Filter
NGK blue wires
Royal purple oil
Honda MTF

and the car still has this slight sputter when im accelerating. highway speeds. normal driving if i start from first. its not light fall on its face but i do feel the hesitation and its very faint.

Compression is 170-175 across the board leakdown test was less that 5%

Not sure what else would cause this issue.

 

i got the same issue but when im driving normal my car sputters and makes myself move back and forth in my seat

 

timing is dead on at 16*

 

my eg hatch (d16y8 swapped) has the same problem! i havent done anything to try and fix it though!
im going to buy new spark plugs
fuel filter
and inspect the distributer
if none of those help i dont know what ill do

 

It was the o2 sensor.
