Spring time rebuild... ideas?
Well once everything is settled, the motor (the might D15 DX motor
) is getting taken out and rebuilt before I sell it. I want some opinions as to what should be done. Im probably not looking to rebuild it for any added performance, because I mean hell its a DX why bother. But im wondering what things should I look at actually rebuilding? The motor seems to use a little oil... Im going to have it flushed (that $70 service which pumps that crap into the oil that eats all the sludge) and then go about throwing in new rings, gaskets, timing belt.... but what else should I do - and best places to get em? Would it just be best to hitup the local "autozone" type store or does someone have a better idea?
Head seams fine - doesnt make any ticking noises etc.
