Spoon Throttle Body

Hi,
How can you tell if a spoon throttle body is authentic? Does it say spoon? Do you simply measure the diameter of the plate and make sure it's 70 mm? Thanks for any help.

i got one of those? But that's what they say it is. But yeah measure it, 70mm is right. But mine dosn't say spoon on it! is it suppose t?

just because it is 70 mm doesn't mean it's spoon. RPM makes a 70 mm throttle body.

A Spoon throttle body is just a factory JDM ITR throttle body with a tapered bore to 70mm.

like obee said, it is tapered to 70mm, so u can see it actually start out smaller and get wider toward the end...
