I got a set of power window motors and scisor track. On the manule ones there is a spiral sring it is above the number 4 in the diagram http://www.hondaautomotivepart...GLASS

I can't tell if it is supposed to be on the power ones or not. One doesn't have one and the other had a bent track so I just took the motor and now I have no reference. This is for 92-95 eg. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Does anyone have the parts laying around that they can look at for me?

I think these are not necessary. Anybody know different.

 

i think those springs keep the windows from falling. with a pair of channel locks and a door panel tool i took mine off of my manual window and reinstalled on my power window. i was missing one also. easier then you think to swap, BIG pair of channel locks.

 

I called honda the dealership and they said not to use the spring. I wonder if that's correct or if they just wanted off the phone. I can see the use on the manual window but the power ones shouldn't need them. If the don't need them it just slow down the window and wears out the motor. If someone knows for sure please chime in.
