1995 honda civic dx

ecu has voltage from vss
replaced ecu with known good ecu, replaced vss with known good vss, replace cluster with know good cluster

b2 at guage cluster yellow/blue is not grounded out at ecu b10. is there a fuse for the speedometer?

voltage from .0 to 4.5 while driving at ecu a26 and b10 but speedo doesnt' work.

any suggerstions?

 

im sure its your speed gear inside your tranny...my brothers integra has the same issue

 

it can't be that because ecu is not throwing code 17....plus when checked with a multimeter there is out put voltage.

 

well my brothers CEL will only come on once in a long time throwing code for the VSS. it could be

 

Intermittent or dead all the time? If it's dead, it's the VSS, the wire, the cluster, or the connectors. There's nothing else in the circuit. The ECU connection is just looking at the VSS signal, it doesn't influence it in any way.
