Speedo Fuse keeps blowing

Speedo Fuse keeps blowing
I was driving my car one night in the rain and all the sudden my speedometer goes nuts and the check engine light comes on. I checked and a fuse was blown so I changed the fuse and unpugged the batterie to have the check engine light turn off and it worked for about a week and today it happened again when I went to start the car. Any clues? Thanks
