is the d series and b series speed sensors the same or different

If I were you, I'll go to your closest wrecking yard and find a B-series and a D-series, and match them up. Or ask one of your friend who has a B or a D. Some of the Speed Sensors on the body are made out of plastic and some are metal, but the harness connectors are 3-prong.
