Speed governor
Speed governor I'm doing a mini-me swap on my '97 HB and probably converting to OBD1.
I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the speed governor.
My car is an automatic and I mostly use it to go to school and work, but I do enjoy going fast once on a while, too.
At the moment my top speed is around 100mph or so, but with a reset ECU I can get it up to 120+, but only for a minute or so, then it drops down to 100.
I read that if I put a mugen/skunk2 chip in OBD1 ECU, it'll lower the Vtec activation to 4200 and a bunch of other stuff, but there is nothing about speed governors.
I would appreciate if someone could help me.
