Spark plug gap inconsistencies
Hi all,
I recently replaced the plugs on my 97 R but found that there was inconsistent information between what the dealer's parts computer specified and what the 97 ITR service manual specified. Bottom line is that the dealer's computer indicated platinum plugs with 1.1mm gaps (and that is what was in the block) but the manual showed 1.3mm plugs were to be used.
Which plugs would you go with?
