Default source for a decent aftermarket TPS in 2018?

Hey, I was just wondering if any of you guys know where to get a decent aftermarket TPS. My oem h22 TPS was broken, so I swapped in an aftermarket ebay one and it doesn't work. It's almost undriveable, and won't calibrate. If I get the closed voltage in spec, the open voltage will be too low, vise versa. All the ones on ebay and everywhere else I've found look exactly the same, even if their prices vary dramatically. I'm afraid they're all from the same chinese factory, just being "private labeled" by different people. For example, I suspect the TPS sold by xenocron for $45 + shipping is exactly the same as the ones on ebay going for $11.

Anyone know for sure?
Thanks

Go to your local pick-a-part and find a used T/B with a TPS like yours... that will be OE quality at least.

I live a little south of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There are no pick and pulls around here, and hardly any japanese cars at all. It sure isn't like where I grew up in CA, there was a pick n pull 10 minutes from my parents' house full of hondas. So it'd have to be ebay. And either way, I'd probably end up with a TB with 200k on it, who knows how much more life that sensor'd have. I don't know. Sure wish I could just buy a good aftermarket one.

There isn't a good aftermarket one available from any local auto parts stores. What about K-Tuned ???

K-tuned just got back to me and their sensor is made in Taiwan, and according to them a lot better than the chinese sensors. I don't doubt that at all, but the only thing there is it's a $70 sensor, + $17.90 shipping from Canada. As far as rockauto, I buy parts from them all the time, but only name brand, like moog problem solver ball joints, etc. The standard TPS could be okay, but the dorman is exactly the same part as the chinese ebay garbage. I bet the standard is too, just with different mounting screws. Neither TPS has any markings on them.

Edit for the 3rd time: You can get the k-tuned sensor from hpt-autosport for 67.99 shipped.

i've been running the standard motor for 50k with no issues and I can't even remember a time I've heard of a tps ever going bad, normally they come over on engines from japan broken off because of their location on the back of the engine so that's the only time they need to be replaced
